About
Lina Luo has been working in the field of international collaborative programs since 2006. She currently serves as the assistant director of the Programs for International Partnerships (PIP) under the Office of Global Engagement at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC). She received both her MA degree in Communication, with concentration in Intercultural Communication, and her MBA degree from UIC. In her position, she assists the director in the development of international partnerships, the strategic planning of collaborative programs as well as the management of program contracts. She leads the creation and implementation of events and activities for student support and engagement. She collaborates with the partner universities and educational institutions, the colleges and academic departments and other supporting units at UIC on the day-to-day operations of various degree and non-degree programs to serve the needs of diverse student body and contribute to UIC global engagement efforts. In her leisure time, she loves to work out and dance. She also enjoys outdoor recreation and traveling with her husband and son.
